Regional Recruitment Specialist

Summary

This position will provide prospective student recruitment and admissions counseling in targeted markets in the state of Texas, with particular attention to Houston and San Antonio areas. Position implements recruiting, outreach, and conversion efforts to prospective, applied, and admitted undergraduate students by conducting high school visits, and attending college fairs. This position also conducts special events and hosts UCCS-specific events to counsel, guide, and direct students to encourage application and enrollment to the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS).

• Priority will be given to applications submitted by: July 18, 2025
• Potential interview dates: Week of July 28, 2025
• Potential start date: Monday, August 18, 2025

• Position requires individual to be in Texas or plan to relocate to Texas.
• To be considered for this role, you must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Must have experience in higher education setting working with students professionally or as a student assistant.
• Valid driver’s license issued by a state within the United States is required.
• Preference is for position and applicant to be based in Houston metro area or San Antonio.
• Graduate from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs is highly desirable.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
