The Director of College and Academic Guidance partners with students and parents to provide professionally informed advice and structured processes regarding students; aptitudes, interests, and college admission goals, beginning in eighth grade.
The Director implements and builds upon an established four-year approach to assisting parents and students regarding the college search, applications, admission, and financial aid.
The Director maintains established relationships with colleges and universities while pursuing additional opportunities to expose colleges and universities to CCA's exceptional students and educational programs.
The Director supervises individual course credits and graduation requirements, transcript integrity, and co-curricular eligibility.
The Director facilitates standardized testing in the High School (PSAT, PreACT, SAT, and ACT).
The Director acts as CCA’s Dual Credit coordinator, submitting and maintaining course syllabi and teacher credentials, monitoring Dual Credit enrollment, and submitting grades to partner colleges and universities. The Director also acts as CCA’s AP coordinator to the College Board.
The Director contributes to the annual course scheduling process, teaming with the High School principal and faculty.

Covenant Christian Academy in Colleyville, Texas is located in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex on a beautiful 16+ acre campus and has been awarded “Best Private School” in NE Tarrant County more than 12 times. The school is a well-established classical, Christian, college-preparatory school with approximately 620 students in PreK-12th grades.
